Longest Bar in Chittenango

A new bar at YBR is turning heads as the longest bar in Chittenango, and maybe even Madison County.

The East End Bar, as we’re calling it, boasts 18 seats and sits across the gaming floor from Wicked Good Pizza in the East End of the casino near the Party Pit.

The semi-circular bar is nearly 30 feet long, and it offers a bird’s eye view into the Party Pit itself. That means that while you and your friends sit and play video poker or enjoy a signature martini, you also could be watching friends go bowling, play blackjack, or drive virtual fairways in the Topgolf Swing Suite.

YBR Operations Manager Roger Doty said the bar has become the “focal point” of the East End, the casino’s newest addition.

“It really ties that whole eastern part of the casino together,” he says. “When we’ve got live music and people are hanging out down there, there’s no question it is the hottest place in all of Chittenango to be.”

Like most bars at YBR, the East End Bar has ample outlets and USB ports for charging phones.

The bar also has six beer taps and serves seven martinis off a special menu. One of those martinis, the Caramel Apple, with sports vodka, apple pucker, butter shots, and a splash of grenadine in a caramel syrup-swirled glass. Another, the Raspberrytini, comprises raspberry vodka, razzmatazz, and sour mix.

While none of our bartenders do bottle tricks like the ones in the 1988 Tom Cruise movie “Cocktail,” Roger noted that many of them have been with the Oneida Indian Nation for years, and that they’re all “great at what they do.” He added that the bartenders all make mean drinks, even when they’re not creating concoctions off the special menu.

The East End Bar is open most nights after 5 p.m., but is especially hopping on Friday and Saturdays—generally it’s busiest when the East End and Party Pit are raging. On your next visit, pull up a chair.
